Conductivity of Solutions
Wire probes immersed in a test solution show its relative conductivity by how brightly the lamp glows. Starting with distilled water, which does not conduct, various acids salts and bases may be added to show a wide range of conductivity.
Caution must be used in selecting additives so as to be sure that no noxious fumes will be emitted. Binding posts are used to connect to the power supply (not included).
Intended for use with low voltage lamps, but may also be used at 115 volts with care and supervision.
Light bulb and line cord are not included.
